NEW JUICER SUBCLASS: Gigachad
Gigachad is the first Subclass in the game. Subclasses have the original card pool while swapping out all workout cards. There are 29 brand new cards for Gigachad.
GAMEPLAY
Gigachad thrives off of Aura Swapping, and using Chin as a resource.
Swap between auras. There are two Auras: Chad and Gigachad.
When you leave Chad, you gain 2 Stamina. This means that any time you Become Gigachad you get 2 Stamina back, e.g., using Aesthetic Overload is free. There are a few other cards that allow you to enter Gigachad as well.
When you are Gigachad, you have Double Gains and Double Fatigue.
The other key part of his kit is his Chin. Think of it as a another resource like Stamina. Use Chin to play special subclass specific cards.
Challenges
Starter Decks are back! They will take the form of challenges in the full game.
So far there are 8 challenges, with more to come as I add more Classes and Subclasses.
Sacred Poses
Sacred Poses needed some love, and a lot of the original ones weren't fun to pick, boring or were just "fine". Most also had +Max Stamina with some downside which made the picking feel bad. Instead I've made most of the new Sacred poses have no obvious downside, although some new ones still do. Which makes them more fun to pick and to play.
The Sacred Pose pool has increased from 8 -> 19 in the playtest. I've also removed 3 so there are 14 brand new ones.
NEW SACRED POSES
- Big Brain: Swap the numbers for Gains and Fatigue on Workout cards. All Workouts' Stamina cost is randomized between 0 and 4.
- Day Job: Obtain Day Job - An Action card (Gain $10. Once.)
- Butterfly Effect: Start each competition with 4 additional Stamina.
- Dainty Hands: Every 4 cards you play draw a card.
- Big Hands: Draw 2 additional cards at the start of each day. You may not draw more than that.
- Fortitude: Double the Max Fatigue of all muscles.
- Pay to Gain: At the start of each day, spend $1 to gain 1 Stamina.
- Viral Routine: At the start of each day add a random Workout into your hand. Its free that day.
- Supreme Focus: Remove 5 cards from your deck.
- Yes Man: Get the maximum reward for End Early Events, but you can no longer Decline.
- Iron Veins: +3 Max Stamina. Reduce Workout Gains and Fatigue by 50%.
- Progressive Overload: Whenever you play a Workout, increase its Gains by 3 for the rest of the competition.
- Short but Strong: Lose 1/2 of your Gains. TRIPLE Workout Gains.
- Cannibalism: Obtain Devour - An Action card. If your Gains exceed the champ's, eat them. +50% Workout Gains. Convert your lead to Fat. End competition.
Removed Sacred Poses
- Lopside: +25% to a Random muscle.
- Trial by Fire: +1 Max Stamina, but +25% higher competition Gains requirement.
- Bulk: +1 Max Stamina, but +10% Fat each competition.
